Two of the primary biblical sources for [[Gog and Magog]] are Ezekiel and Revelations. The Hebrew Prophet [[Ezekiel]] lived in Babylon (Iraq of today) after the destruction of the first temple in Jerusalem, and he had many visions of events which were recorded and believed to be prophecies for the "end of days". Chapters 36 and 37 of Ezekiel Prophecy speak of Israel being reborn as a country and the "in gathering of the exiles", the return of the [[Hibiru Tribes|Jewish people]] to the land of Israel from all over the world. All this happened of course with the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948, so the religious believe the world is getting very close to the fulfillment of the next part of the prophecy, chapters 38 and 39 of [[Ezekiel]], which give pretty gruesome accounts of the [[Gog and Magog]] war. This of course ties in with the [[Armageddon Software]] so heavily implanted in the majority of the population in the region. While Judaism teaches that the negative prophecies do not have to be fulfilled and preferable for the "end days" to come through peaceful means, there are nevertheless teachings about the necessity to obey God's commands in order to avoid the wrath of war, Gog and Magog, a destructive war unlike any other seen before.
