Jing

From Ascension Glossary

The Internal Trinity or Three Treasures consist of: Vital Essence (Jing), Breath-Life force (Qi), and God Spirit (Shen).

  • Jing 精 "nutritive essence, essence; refined, perfected; extract; spirit, sperm, seed.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jing is the primal essence that forms the deep foundational energy reserves of the body and is the supreme life force which protects one’s vitality and determines the quality of health along with the longevity of our physical body and mind. As the kidneys are the most powerful reservoir of the fluid essence that contains the life force, plentiful Jing is required for energetic balancing of the entire body, mind and spirit. The Kidney Jing is considered to be the Mother’s foundation for giving her offspring life-giving essences in her healing waters which hold secret properties or treasures, these are utilized for reproduction, metabolic health and bio-spiritual consciousness growth.

Jing is considered to be inherited and can be summarized in two parts; the Yin, being congenital or prenatal, and the Yang, being postnatal or acquired. However, what is missing from this equation is the knowledge of our divine spiritual nature and that we truly belong to our God Parents. We can inherit Spiritual Jing as we grow our consciousness to connect directly with God, and that spiritual connection nourishes and replaces the inherited Jing at the biological level. This is a similar concept to comprehending our DNA as a male-female language that is a base paired structure that provides a backup copy of all genetic information that has been encoded within double-stranded DNA that extends into the physical realms and spiritual-energetic realms.
